Our goal at HBC is to help students REACH their lost friends for Jesus Christ, EQUIP them for ministry & service to the community, help them GROW in their daily walk with Jesus Christ & teach them to live a life of PRAISE to God in all that they say and do! Listed below are some of the activities provided for our youth:
BIBLE STUDY
We offer Sunday school classes, divided by age & gender, on Sunday mornings at 8:45am.
On Wednesday nights, we offer a large group Bible study time, mixed in with some games & fellowship, which uses the truth of God's Word to address the issues facing teenagers today.
MISSIONS/ MINISTRY
We want to provide youth with opportunities to make an eternal impact in the lives of their friends & people in our community. We are ALWAYS looking for ways that we can serve. In the past, we have raked leaves, performed small tasks for shut ins, served at our associational food pantry, and helped with school & church events. We also support a child through Holt International, participate in Operation Christmas Child & help w/ the Care & Share during the holiday season.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Throughout the year, special events are offered for the purpose of giving youth a safe FUN environment while also reaching out to lost and un-churched students who need Jesus Christ. In the past, we have had fellowship such as 5th Quarter parties, lock ins, ski trips, messy games nights and much more! Our middle school & high school groups both attend camps each summer, designed to help our youth get away from the world & draw closer in their relationship with Jesus. Also, each November we have a DiscipleNow weekend where students are broken into small groups to go deeper into the Bible to learn more about their faith.
